Cuisinart Espresso Makers

Review of the Cuisinart Espresso Makers

Should You Buy The Cuisinart Espresso Maker?

Are you hot for coffee? The planet virtually runs on it. Even so, ordinary coffee can seem to be fairly drab at times, and perhaps a little too routine. You may find that you want something different to spice up your java. Presenting espresso, the royal prince of the coffee world. Of course this type of special beverage cannot be prepared with only a regular coffee maker. You will need a special espresso machine to make that perfect brew, and who better to design the perfect espresso machine than the good people at Cuisinart? The Cuisinart Espresso Maker is everything a good espresso machine should be.

At the moment, Cuisinart just offers two different models of espresso makers: namely the EM-100 and the EM-200. For their specific selling prices, both are wonderful and highly versatile. The EM-100 is a typical espresso maker. It averages in price about $140, based on where you go shopping, and is praised by numerous reviews from happy customers. The EM-200 on the other hand, is completely programmable, and is considered a step up in espresso making power. This machine raises the price to around $180, but with the extra set of features it is definitely worth the cost.

In terms of features, each has a lot of great capabilities, some shared and some limited to the higher end model. These appliances are truly impressive additions to any kitchen.  A few of the major features which Cuisinart has included as standard on these espresso makers are a pump able to put out 15 bars of water pressure, cup warming hot plates, porta-filter nozzles, plus a big water reservoir. The custom programmable EM-200 model trades the knobs found on the EM-100 for buttons. They are both quite modern looking, with a stainless steel cabinet. The EM-100 has more of a classic look and the EM-200 has a more contemporary take on the classic espresso machine.  The two espresso models are pretty heavy in weight too, which can be vital for some kitchen appliances. You do not want a lightweight machine full of pressurized hot water on your counter.

Still not sure? Don't simply take my word on how great this machine is. Customers are raving about this thing! Just about everyone concurs that these machines are amazingly good at how they work, even people who have never used an espresso maker before. Quite a few more experienced buyers commend the Cuisinart Espresso Maker series for functions that are not even technically mentioned by the maker, such as their capability to maintain a stable temperature range in between shots, and its built-in pressure relief function, an extremely useful feature which is rarely found in espresso machines within this price range.

Trust me when I say that when you purchase one of these you get your moneyĆs worth and then some. The only way to get a better performing espresso maker is to fork out $1000 or more for an industrial model. Cuisinart understands what it takes to make that perfect cup of espresso every time.  If you have a thirst for exceptional coffee you need to add this appliance to your kitchen counter.
